Running Head: Body number Body Image July 15, 2009 My adolescent old age were some ms hard-fought for me. I remember becoming actually self-conscious around the sixth grade when my dead body began to change. I was always high for my age and can remember race always commenting about(predicate) I was all legs. It seemed like my body began to develop over night. I woke up one dayspring and had breast and then began to bill that my rear was fixateting larger and my clothes did non raiment the same. Although I did notice the changes in the beginning, I was in sixth grade and did not genuinely pay it each attention. It was not until the following year that I rightfully began to notice how diametric my body was than my classmates. We were required to back away a forcible for basketball and everyone had to weigh in. I didnt come downk it was any big raft, however when one of the girls asked how more I weighed I told her and she formulaed shocked. I remember her telling me that I did not look that big. I was 58 and 125lbs in the 7th grade, flat I know that is the normal cant but I mat like and whale. The other girls had not began to develop, they were stick thin and most did not even defend to fracture a bra. The 7th through the 9th grade were difficult periods because I was so self conscious of how I looked. It did not help that I went to an all white indoctrinate and the volume of the girls were thin. The only date I ever really felt comfortable was on the basketball court. I may not have been as thin as the rest of them but I was a lot better than them. It was not until towering school that I began to feel more comfortable in my own skin. My feminine classmates had all grown into their own bodies. It really helped that it was cool to wear baggy clothes and sweats to school at the time!
